Naissances, mariages, héritages, associations commerciales etc… Ce document donne un excellent aperçu de la vie sociale juive à Tanger vers la fin du XIXe siècle. Une grand partie de ce registre a été inscrite par le rabbin Mordekhaï Bengio. Cet ouvrage fut acquis par le collectionneur Montréalais Yaer Oliel dans un bazar marocain.

Registry of the Jewish community of Tangiers. A record of births, marriages, inheritances, commercial enterprises, etc.. This document offers a revealing view of Jewish social life in Tangiers at the end of the 19th century. A large proportion of this registry was written by Rabbi Mordekhaï Bengio. Montreal collector Yaer Oliel acquired this document in a Moroccan bazaar.
